Second Level Schools and Colleges 

 

County Meath VEC currently has the responsibility for 9 Second Level schools & colleges throughout the county.  One school is Coláiste lan Ghaelach.

The total number of pupils availing of second level full-time education in VEC schools and colleges is in excess of 3,500.
 
All our schools and colleges are co-educational and multi-denominational. 
 
Programmes being offered in our schools include Junior Certificate, Junior Certificate Schools Programme, Transition Year, Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied and Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme. The full range of subjects is offered at both Junior and Senior Cycle.
 
County Meath VEC operates a policy of educational inclusion in all its schools and strives to meet the educational needs of all students. 
 
Each school and college has a distinctive identity within its locality in that it provides a range of programmes, which reflect the needs of the local community and the student cohort.
